A vintage diamond and sapphire cluster ring, set on a band of yellow gold, stamped as 18ct.
This piece has been formally assessed by the Guild of Valuers and Jewellers and is confirmed to have .34ct total diamond weight and .20ct sapphire.
The central diamond is round brilliant cut at .10ct and is colour I/J with clarity VS2/SI1 in a claw setting. The central stone is surrounded by 4 round brilliant cut diamonds with a total weight between them of .24ct. The cluster diamonds are assessed as SI1/SI2.
The remaining cluster stones are dark blue sapphires with a circular faceted cut with a total weight between them of .20ct.
The band is 18ct yellow gold with tapered shoulders. This piece does not have UK hallmarks (some Egyptian markings instead) but is stamped 18ct gold and has been tested as 18ct gold.

This is a really unique piece and we haven’t seen anything like it - probably because it has been imported at some point.
The total diamond weight and cuts mean this piece really catches the light, and we love a piece with a story and wonder how she made her way to the UK!
