1920s Art deco diamond panel ring with platinum setting

An antique diamond square panel ring from the art deco period.  

This piece is centred around the beautifully detailed platinum panel setting, which has a central diamond of around .05ct. The diamond is surrounded by a detailed milgrain edging, in a geometric design typical of the art deco period. Four further diamonds sit in each corner and the setting is bordered by further milgrain edging. 

The setting is complimented by stepped, tapered shoulders also in platinum, leading down to a 9ct gold yellow band.

The setting is 8x8mm and the total weight is around 2g. 

Not hallmarked due to age but stamped 9ct & plat, in very good condition.
