This sterling silver locket was made in the year 1972 and is fully hallmarked confirming the English, Sheffield assay mark and date stamp.
The front of the locket is domed and engraved with a floral design with a patterned edge, and a rope twist style braiding along the locket edges. The open and shut locket opens to reveal to compartments, one retaining the photo shield.
Measures 50x41mm (plus bail). Sold without a chain.
The back is also engraved with the same design and is flat.
