A vintage 9ct gold east-west ruby ring

A pretty 9ct gold ruby ring, set in 9ct gold.

We love the unusual style of this piece, which features an east-west set marquise cut pink ruby stone, of around .20ct.

The stone is in lovely condition and has a lovely purpley-pink hue. Set within 4 yellow gold claws and on a slightly raised setting. The shoulders on this piece jut out to create a squared off shape when viewed from the side, with gently tapered shoulders. The band tapers from 1mm to 2mm at the base.

Slightly off rounded due to a previous resize, which doesn’t impact wear.
