Vintage Amethyst drop earrings on 9ct gold

A pair of 9ct gold amethyst drop earrings. 

These earrings feature a freeform polished amethyst stone which is suspended on 9ct gold internal posts, attached to a bail and a straight square gold bar, suspended on a fish hook closure. 

One closure is slightly misshapen due to the dainty nature of the hook, but does not impact closure or wear. Both amethyst stones have internal inclusions which are not surface reaching. In otherwise good condition. 

Not hallmarked. 

The amethyst stones measures approx 12x10mm at the widest points, the metal bar measures 10mm in length and total length from bail to the stone of the stone is approx 34mm.
