An antique diamond 5-stone ring on 18ct gold and platinum
This antique piece is a classic design from the early 1900s with 5 graduating diamonds in an elliptical channel style setting. The 3 central diamonds are single cut and around 2mm in diameter and the smaller shoulder stones around 1mm each, round cut. Estimated around .15ct weight overall and set into a platinum setting.
The diamonds are set with an open back which allows lots of light through for the antique stones to sparkle.
Due to age the band has thinned at the base and the underside of the gallery is slightly sharpened due to thinning. Slightly off rounded due to a likely previous resize.
Not hallmarked as the age of this piece pre-dates hallmarking requirements.
