Vintage diamond solitaire ring on 18ct gold and platinum

A vintage diamond solitaire ring on 18ct gold and platinum.

This pretty ring has a .20ct solitaire diamond in a claw setting, and set in platinum. The diamond has plenty of fire and the stone is in good condition. 

The solitaire is set between two diamond studded shoulders, also set in platinum and two graduating diamonds on each side, with a pretty milgrain edging and raised profile. This piece predates hallmarking requirements but is stamped and metal tested. 

The ring head is in good vintage condition however the base of the shank is thinned. For this reason, this piece should not be resized.
