A 9ct rose gold antique locket.
This glass locket is antique and has a 9ct gold (stamped) rose gold frame and bail, with a compartment containing two antique photographs; the first of a young girl and the second of a lady.
The top of the locket is designed to screw open so the photo can be replaced. This has been checked and the bail does unscrew so the photos could be replaced if wanted. Screw threads in good condition.
The locket frame is fully hallmarked and bears the Birmingham hallmark, 375 (9ct), a maker's mark (JW) and a date stamp confirming it was made in 1905 - making it 119 years old.
Please note a chain is not included with this piece.
In overall good condition, some wear commensurate with age. Slight warping on part of the frame shown in pictures.
