An antique opal and diamond ring on 18ct gold.

A beautiful and well made piece dating to the Edwardian era. This piece features 3 cabochon opal stones separated by old European cut diamonds, in a decorative gallery and plain band.

The largest central opal stone is .33ct (5x3.5mm) and the two smaller stones around .20ct each. The diamonds are both .10ct each. The stones are set in rich 18ct yellow gold and the piece weighs approximately 4.26g overall.

The opals are well matched with lively play of colour and only minor wear but very good condition for their age. The central opal has slightly heavier abrasion. The diamonds are bright and catch the light beautifully.
