An antique 18ct gold and platinum 5-stone diamond ring.
A beautifully hand made and preserved antique ring featuring five 8-cut diamonds. Each stone is around .025ct taking the total diamond weight to around .125ct overall. All 5 diamonds are assessed as G-I in colour and S-I clarity.
The stones are illusion set into an engraved platinum gallery and on a tapered 18ct yellow gold band. The platinum edging adds an extra level to the sparkle of the diamonds making this a really eye catching piece.
This is a hand made antique ring likely from the early twentieth century, bearing the maker's mark "R&C Co". It is a really beautiful piece and has been kept in wonderful condition.
This piece has been assessed by the Guild of Valuers and Jewellers and the pre-sale report can be viewed in the photos. Their independent valuation is £800 and a personalised insurance valuation certificate will be included with this sale and emailed directly to you after purchase.
