An antique sapphire and diamond boat ring, from the early 20th century.
This stunning boat ring features 4 sapphire stones and 8 diamonds. The central sapphire is a possible replacement, but is assessed as "strong purplish blue" and the beautiful purple hues can be seen in natural light. It is shouldered by two smaller pale blue sapphire stones and has a total overall sapphire weight of .31ct between the three stones.
The diamond accents are eight cut stones at around .01ct each and the stones are all set into tapered shoulders on an 18ct yellow gold band.
This is a handmade antique ring and is assessed as being made in the early 20th century. Not hallmarked but metal has been independently assessed and tests as 18ct.
Some minor abrasion/chipping to the diamond stones which is not visible while wearing. Stones are tested and secure. Total weight 3.66g.
