An antique opal solitaire ring on 9ct rose gold  

This antique piece has a simple and classic design which perfectly shows off the opal stone. It measures 7x6mm and is cut into an oval cabochon shape, with a delicate milgrain edging around the stone.

The opal has beautiful strong plays of colour with lots of orange and greens across the stone. The band on this piece is dainty, measuring only 1mm.

This piece is not hallmarked as it predates hallmarking requirements but has been metal tested confirming 9ct gold.
