This heart shaped locket is made of rose gold and features an engraved foliate design on the front and back of the locket. The locket opens to reveal two original photos, of a man and a lady.
The locket has patina around the edging and top and we have retained the original photos should the new owner wish to keep them. The photos are undated but are black and white. There is a new replacement gold jump ring so that this can be easily fitted to a necklace chain.
The back is stamped "9CT FRONT & BACK". No other hallmarks as likely predates 1950.
