A antique ruby and vari-cut diamond boat style ring, with decorative shoulders and setting.
The ring has partial hallmarks for Birmingham and has a date stamp to 1916, making it over 100 years old. In good condition and excellent clarity on all the stones.
The ring has previously been resized resulting in a slightly oval shape, and means the full hallmark is no longer visible - but luckily the Birmingham assay stamp and date stamp have been mostly preserved.
It has 3 diamonds and 2 rubies set into a carved 18ct gold gallery.

Due to its age and shape further resizing is not recommended, else the hallmarks will probably be lost.
