A sapphire and pearl necklace including pendant and chain.
A beautiful necklace of the French Edwardian style, with a bezel set light blue circular cut sapphire stone, of around .20ct. The bezel setting has a milgrain edging.
The sapphire is accompanied by a small baroque pearl dropper, suspended from a fine trace chain.
We love the combination of the deep gold chain and the way the pearl suspends from the sapphire, giving a "drop" shape. This is a really elegant piece and would not look out of place with formal wear or for a special occasion.
Both gemstones are in good condition and the clasp and one link are hallmarked but the marking is rubbed. Stamped 9c. Weighs around 2g.
The sapphire stone is 4mm in diameter
The pearl is teardrop shaped: 7mm in length and 6mm wide at the widest point.
Drop (when worn) is 19cm.
This necklace comes packaged in our branded Forest & Fox branded boxes which are then securely posted with discreet, unbranded, outer packaging.
