Antique sapphire and diamond double row ring on 18ct gold
Antique sapphire and diamond double row ring on 18ct gold
An antique sapphire and diamond double row ring on 18ct gold.
This gorgeous piece was made in the early 1900s and has 7 light to mid blue round cut sapphire stones, totalling .42ct, alternated with 5 rose cut diamonds totalling around .05ct.
The ring was cast made and hand finished, with excellent craftmanship and shows a partial hallmark for 18ct gold.
It also features a very special personal engraving: "G.J and A.R 24/6/11".
The independent valuation from the Guild of Valuers and Jewellers for this piece is £775.
There is a small chip to one rose cut diamond and a very fine crack to one shoulder. Otherwise in very good antique condition.
