An antique rose and yellow gold sapphire and diamond panel ring.
This piece features a mix of a rose gold shank with lovely detail in the scrollwork shoulders, with a yellow gold ring head. The ring has 5 sapphire stones which are around 2mm diameter (widest point), square cut and with a lovely light inky blue colouring.
The sapphires are alternated with 4 single cut diamonds, all separated with diagonal milgrain edging.
This ring likely has had the head and shank put together at a later stage as a replacement hence the rose and yellow gold combination. There is evidence of soldering within the scrollwork which is visible on inspection. Due to the nature of the soldering work this ring cannot be resized. Some small nibbles to one sapphire stone.
The ring head measures 7x7mm and the shank width is 2mm.
Not hallmarked due to age but stamped 9ct.
