An antique amethyst and seed pearl ring on 9ct rose gold.
This stunning ring features a mix of seed pearls and heathery purple amethyst stones arranged in a cross shape, with a central square set amethyst stone. The central stone is open backed to let through lots of light, with the other stones closed backed. Each shoulder has 3 further smaller pearls tapering down the shoulders which are carved with a beautiful design.
The ring head measures around 11x12mm on the cross part of the head. The central amethyst is approx 3x3mm.
A very pretty piece in good antique condition. The ring shank is slightly off rounded however this does not affect wear. Not hallmarked due to age but stamped 9CT.
