Antique seed pearl pinky ring from 1890 on 15ct gold
Antique seed pearl pinky ring from 1890 on 15ct gold
An antique 15ct gold pinky ring with seed pearl and garnet.
This lovely antique piece dates all the way back to 1890, making her 136 years old!
It has 6 seed pearls arranged in a double row, with garnet stones on each shoulder. This ring is a small size so would be suitable for wearing as a pinky ring or for someone with very dainty hands.
Each pearl is around 1.5mm diameter and the garnet stones are 2m diameter eac. The ring is made in 15ct yellow gold and is fully hallmarked. The ring head is 5mm wide at the widest point and the base of the shank is 2mm wide.
As expected with a piece of this age, the seed pearls have some surface damage which is only visible on close inspection. The garnets are slightly mismatched in colour suggesting that one is likely a later replacement.
