Antique seed pearl star and crescent moon brooch on 15ct gold

An antique seed pearl bar brooch on 15ct gold. 

An eye catching Victorian bar brooch in the form of a crescent moon cradling a multi-point star, both of which are studded with tiny seed pearls throughout. Either side of the star and moon motif are chain style bar sides leading on to gold studded ends. We love this styled as a collar pin!

Not hallmarked but metal tests at 15ct gold.

The brooch pin, catch and hinge are in good condition and functioning. In good antique condition. 

Because this piece is a functioning brooch it has a sharp point at the end of the pin. Please take care when opening or using the catch.
