An antique opal single stone ring with tapered shoulders.
This piece has a stunning round central opal stone with a stunning blue and green play of colour. One half of the stone has a strong blue vein running through it with more subtle colours across the other side. Its a really unique stone with vivid colours.
The band is 9ct yellow gold and the opal is set in a 8 claw raised setting with a lovely height, sitting around 6mm high of the hand. The band is just under 2mm in width and has tapered petal shaped shoulders with decorative banding.
This piece is not hallmarked but is stamped 9ct gold.
