A classic cultured pearl string necklace dating to around the 1960s with graduating pearls from clasp to centre. The clasp is 9ct gold (stamped) and has a tiny diamond surrounded by open scrollwork and a sliding clasp (lobster claw) style closure.
Nacre damage visible on various pearls (at ends where they join the string) on inspection but not noticeable when worn. String discoloured in places commensurate with age. Clasp in good condition. Pearls have a lovely slightly ivory/champagne colouring.
Necklace drop is approx 24cm (total length 49cm inc clasp). Largest pearl around 7mm diameter, smallest around 4mm.
