An early twentieth century synthetic ruby and diamond ring, on 18ct gold. 

This stunning pieces features a large emerald cut synthetic ruby stone totalling approximately 4.33ct, assessed as "vivid pinkish red" in colour and measuring 10.2 x 8.3 x 4.73mm. The ruby is set in 9-14ct white gold with a capping of either palladium or 14ct white gold (as tested).

The ruby is nestled between two diamonds of around 0.04 and 0.06ct each.

This piece has been independently assessed by the Guild of Valuers and Jewellers and comes with an insurance valuation certificate showing a value of £1,200. A copy of the insurance document will be emailed after sale and a copy of the pre-sale report can be seen in the listing images.
