This very special piece is a memorial piece, around Victorian in age. It features plaited hairwork in the centre of the brooch, encased in glass, surrounded by a filigree style gold plated setting,
The back is domed and has a hinged piece so that this piece can be worn.
There is a rattle internally however this piece is sealed and therefore has not been opened.
