This stunning antique piece is an engraved mourning ring with hairwork plaiting throughout the band. Made to memorialise a loved one in a way typically used by the Victorians.
Each hairwork panel is shouldered by engraved borders, some of which are rubbed due to age. The hairwork is still in very good condition.
Fully hallmarked and date stamped.
