This incredible memorial ring was made in the year 1887. The ring head features a carved sardonyx setting in a floral shape, with a central rose cut diamond of around .03ct.
The inside of the ring shank bears the following engraving:
“Obit 15th Dec 1881 – 12 Nov 1886” & “M Jefferys.RJ Jefferys”
This piece was likely made in memory of M and RJ Jefferys who passed away in December 1881 and November 1886.
A truly lovely genuine antique piece. Very good condition with light wear to the shank.
