This dainty ring is set on an 9ct gold band with a super sweet diamond solitaire.
The diamond is .10ct (stamped to band) and is illusion set into a white gold frame and sits in a yellow gold crown setting, on a slightly tapered yellow gold band. Illusion settings are a good choice for engagement rings or rings you intend to wear a lot since they protect the stone from damage.
The crown setting sits around 5mm proud of the hand so won’t catch on pockets and fibres as much as a higher one would. The band is around 2mm thick, giving a solid base for everyday wear.
