A vintage 9ct gold amethyst cocktail ring from 1964.
This amethyst ring is all about impact and presence on the hand. It features an impressive large purple amethyst stone, prong set onto a detailed 9ct gold band. The stone measures 18x11mm and the ring weighs in at 3.6g.
The hallmarks are part rubbed likely due to a previous resize however the Birmingham assay mark and date stamp are preserved.
The stone is in good condition with only minor scuffing in places, mostly not visible by eye.
