Vintage amethyst and diamond halo ring on 9ct gold

A vintage amethyst and diamond halo ring on 9ct gold.

A gorgeous piece which features a rectangular dark purple amethyst stone of around 0.5ct (6x4mm). The stone is in lovely condition with only minor marking seen under magnification. 

The amethyst is surrounded by a halo of 14 accent diamonds, in a yellow gold setting. The amethyst has 4 claws which are in good condition. 

The setting is slightly raised and sits around 8mm total off the hand, and the ring has a sturdy wide shank of 2mm width. 

The total ring head size is around 10x7mm at the widest points.

In good vintage condition, fully hallmarked.
