Vintage amethyst and sapphire toi et moi ring on 9ct gold

A vintage amethyst and sapphire toi-et-moi ring on 9ct gold. 

This pretty toi-et-moi ring features an unusual combination of amethyst and sapphire stones; the biron stones for February and September. The amethyst stone is a beautiful deep purple colour and perfectly compliments the dark inky blue sapphire stone. The stones are around 3mm diameter, approx .07ct each. 

Each stone is claw set and in an open back setting. Likely late vintage (early 20th century) or possibly antique, the band has slightly rosied in colour over time and there is a small amount of tarnishing between the settings. Stones in good condition with only light surface abrasion.
