A classic diamond solitaire ring dating to the early 20th century, on 18ct gold and platinum.

This pretty diamond solitaire dates to around the 1930s/1940s and is beautifully made on sturdy 18ct buttery yellow gold with a raised cathedral setting. The diamond is around .25ct.

The stone is illusion set which gives the diamond a larger appearance and the flush setting keeps the stone secure. This style of setting is perfect for an engagement ring or a ring which is likely to be worn regularly. The setting is sturdy and in good condition, perfect as a long term investment piece, as she approaches her antique years.

The ring head is around 6mm in diameter, and sits approximately 5-6mm proud of the hand.

Not hallmarked due to age but metal tests as 18ct gold and platinum. In good vintage condition, some rubbing to the stamps.
