Vintage opal and diamond cluster ring on 18ct gold

A vintage opal and diamond oval cluster ring, set on 18ct gold.

This gorgeous piece features an oval cabochon opal stone assessed as having “light, even colours”, which is around 1ct in weight.

The vintage opal is claw set and surrounded by a halo of 12 eight-cut diamonds, totalling around .24ct overall.

There are 2 further accent diamonds on each shoulder of this piece, adding extra lovely detailing. The shoulder diamonds are around .08ct in total.

The opal is in lovely condition and has a very clear play of colour, with greens, oranges, blues and orange tones throughout.

This piece has lots of lovely little details and is beautifully made. In good vintage condition.

This piece has been independently assessed by the Guild of Valuers and Jewellers and has a new replacement valuation of £2,500. An insurance certificate to this value will be provided following sale and is included in the cost.
