Vintage opal and garnet ring on 9ct gold

A opal and garnet boat ring on 9ct gold.

This lovely vintage piece features a mix of opal and garnet stones arranged in a boat ring style setting. It has 3 graduating opal circular stones, the largest of which measures around 5mm diameter and the smaller shoulder opals are 2.5mm.

The central opal on this piece has a very subtle play of colour and more opaqueness but with flashes of orange and green. Whereas, the shoulder stones are less opaque and favour more blue and purple tones. 

The opals are separated with 2 tiny garnet stones each side, of around 1-1.5mm.

One shoulder opal is very slightly loose in the setting but the stone is secure. There is a very tiny nibble on the central opal which is subtle  

Fully hallmarked and in good vintage condition.
