Vintage ruby and diamond halo cluster on 9ct gold

A vintage ruby and diamond halo ring on 9ct gold. 

This ring has a lovely reddish pink ruby stone of around 0.50ct (6x4mm) which has a really striking colour. The stone has some visible internal inclusions which are not surface reaching (please see photos). For this reason we would recommend not resizing this piece. 

The ruby is surrounded by a halo of 14 accent diamonds measuring around 1mm diameter each. 

Some minor nibbles and marks to the edges and facets of the ruby stone, which also has inclusions as noted above.
