Vintage sapphire and diamond cluster ring on 9ct gold

A vintage sapphire and diamond ring on 9ct gold. 

A pretty ring which features a circular dark blue sapphire stone, surrounded by a halo of 12 accent diamonds, all claw set. We love the shape of the stone which is a bit different from the usual oval shaped style of similar pieces.  

The sapphire is around .50ct (5.2mm diameter) and each diamond is around 1mm diameter. The ring head measures 10mm total diameter. 

One diamond has been recently replaced with a new claw. All other stones/claws in good condition with some subtle wear to the sapphire facet edges.
