A vintage sapphire and diamond floral cluster ring on 18ct gold.

This eye catching ring features a floral style ring head with a central blue sapphire stone of 1.03ct. The sapphire has been assessed as being "very dark blue" in colour but it maintains a beautiful deep inky colour when the light catches it. The sapphire is oval cut and measures 5.9x3mm in size. 

The sapphire is claw set and surrounded by 8, eight cut diamonds which have been assessed H-I in colour and S1 in clarity; ranging from 1.7 to 1.8mm in diameter (around .02ct each). The diamonds are set in a white gold setting which reflects the light and gives this piece plenty of sparkle. 

This piece has a lovely presence on the hand with a profile of around 8mm off the finger and the total width of the ring head of around 15mm, and weighing around 4.6g.

Fully hallmarked and in good vintage condition. 

This piece has been independently assessed and valued by the Guild of Valuers and Jewellers and their pre-sale report can be viewed in the photos. A personalised insurance certificate with a valuation of £1,950 will be provided following completion of our normal returns window.
