Antique single cut diamond stud earrings on 9ct gold

A pair of 9ct gold diamond stud earrings. 

These pretty antique earrings feature a single cut diamond stone in each stud, which is set into an engraved star setting. Each earring has a pretty Etruscan revival style edging around each one, in a circular shape. 

The gold has a lovely rosey hue typical of antique gold. Earrings measure around 10mm diameter and each diamond is around 1mm. 

A lovely example of a typical early 20th century design. Not hallmarked but metal settings test as 9ct gold. Sold with butterfly back closures. In good antique condition.
